The girth or torso measurement is the most important measurement for sizing leotards.  Please measure over another leotard or a bathing suit.  Measure from one shoulder, down across the belly and through the legs.  Continue to measure up the back until you meet the starting point on the tape measure. This complete circle is the girth on FlipFlop Leos size chart.  If you don't have a tailor's tape measure, use a string or ribbon that does not stretch as if it was the tape measure, marking where it meets. Then measure the ribbon with any yard stick or ruler.  If your measurement is at the top of one size range and bottom of the next size, then take a look at the horizontal measurements. Whichever size they more closely fall into is your choice. This only takes a second and works 99.9% of the time to get the perfect fit.  FlipFlop Leos comes in 10 sizes, so I'm sure I have yours!
